{"id":14191,"date":"2016-07-24T12:48:54","date_gmt":"2016-07-24T12:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mintus-law.co.il\/?p=14187"},"modified":"2016-07-25T07:11:00","modified_gmt":"2016-07-25T07:11:00","slug":"annual-law-amendment-no-15-adding-a-day-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bmadv.co.il\/?p=14191&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Annual Vacation Law-Amendment No. 15- Additional Vacation Days for Israeli Employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"tikun15.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">The 15th amendment to the Israeli Annual Vacation Law, 1951<\/a>\u00a0came into effect on 1.7.2016.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the Amendment, commencing on\u00a01.7.2016 Israeli employees with\u00a0up to 4 working years of experience, will enjoy an additional vacation day (on a &quot;gross&quot; basis, including Saturdays), so that they will be\u00a0entitled to 15 days off (gross) a year instead of 14, and commencing on 1.1.2017 this amendment shall apply also to employees with up to 5 years of experience who will be entitled to\u00a016 vacation days (on a &quot;gross&quot; basis)\u00a0\u00a0per year.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In conjunction with the provisions of the &quot;General Expansion Order&quot;, employees working six days per week will be entitled to 13 days off (on a &quot;net&quot; basis) or 15 days (on a &quot;gross&quot; basis) instead of 12 days and 14 days, respectively, and employees working 5 days per week will be entitled to 11 days &quot;net&quot; (instead of 10).
